Semaglutide Weight Loss Program
We are excited to now offer our Semaglutide Program which is designed to provide you with a highly effective and convenient treatment option for your health and weight loss needs.

What is this medication?
As you may be aware, there are injectable weight loss medications like Saxenda, Wegovy, and Ozempic that have been rising in popularity. They are "glucagon like peptide" agonists aka GLP-1 which is a natural hormone that our body produces after we eat. However in certain people this production may be low. What does GLP 1 do? It signals our brain that we are full! It also slows down the motility of the food through the intestinal tract and helps you feel full for longer. These medications are injected subcutaneously (under the skin) around your abdomen. The specific one our clinic will be using is Semaglutide (generic for Wegovy and Ozempic). Studies have shown promising results with Semaglutide therapy. According to these studies, 83% of adults on Wegovy have lost up to 5% or more of their weight, and 66% of adults reported losing up to 10% or more of their weight over 1.5 years while also leading a healthy lifestyle. Our patients have experienced great results with this, with an average weight loss of 10-12 lbs in the first two months alone. It’s important to note that individual results may vary.
National Shortage of GLP-1 injectables
There is currently a national shortage of Semaglutide, available in the form of Wegovy and Ozempic. These medications are facing limited availability with soaring costs ranging from $1,200-$1,500/month.
To address this gap and meet the increased patient demand, we are pleased to announce our partnership with a 503b Compounding Pharmacy. This partnership allows us to offer an alternative, safe form of Semaglutide. Before making this decision, we conducted extensive research, thoroughly reviewed the sourcing and literature on the pharmacy’s Semaglutide base, and obtained a certificate of analysis (COA) to ensure its safety and compliance with FDA policies.
Is compounded semaglutide safe and legal?
While there are non-FDA approved versions like semaglutide salt or acetate, we want to reassure you that the form of Semaglutide we will be providing is safe and does not violate any FDA regulations. However, to stay compliant with the policies, the medication can only be dispensed in-office, which means you would need to visit the clinic weekly for the injection. Rest assured, this process takes less than 5 minutes.

It is important to understand that Semaglutide is a tool used to assist in your weight loss journey. Your Semaglutide plan should include healthy eating habits, along with a regular exercise program.
